My first ever blend from Photoshop 6 TRIAL version..
I know, I know.. it looks weird..
I tried some effects... and her face was meant to be blur.. (I was trying the blur tool)

You don't need to try the blur tool. Just go Filter>blur>blur or other blurs. There are better options. And not bad for first time

Or you can actually do it on separate layers so you won't smudge the text also.
