Hey peeps! After a long time of searching, I finaly found an Adobe Photoshop clone! Its called GIMPShop and its free! It works on, Mac, Windows, and Linux!

I've installed it and it seems very good! The interface is similar to Adobe Photoshop! But GIMPShop doesn't have the layer style window. You have to get the plug in and implement it in GIMPShop. Download the plugin here

Remember, GIMPShop doesn't accept Photoshop brushes! You can use the The GIMP brushes instead! Here's the link where you can get LOADS of The GIMP brushes!

GIMPShop is good for the people who can't afford Adobe Photoshop or the people who run Linux. I'm running Linux not Windows & Adobe Photoshop doesn't support Linux. That's why I HATE it! I used to use Adobe Photoshop CS2 but since I switched to Linux, I use the GIMPShop.

Its not totally the same but its similar. It can do anything Adobe Photoshop can! The interface is REALLY the same! TRUST ME ON THIS! You can use photoshop tutorials to make graphics in GIMPShop too! |

It may take a while for Adobe Photoshop users to get confortable with it (maybe only 20 minutes). I have both GIMPShop and Photoshop but I prefer GIMPShop as I'm using Linux in my laptop and Photoshop doesn't support Linux. Its not only because of that! Its because it rox!
Anyway, here's a tip if you're using GIMPShop. You can see that GIMPShop doesn't have the polygonal lasso tool (GIMPShop have only the Lasso Tool & the Magnetic Lasso tool). But GIMPShop have another tool that can replace it. Its the path tool! It works just like the Polygonal Lasso Tool! To use it as the polygonal lasso tool, tick on the polygonal. Then use it like the polygonal lasso tool. To turn it into selection, click on Create Selection From Path and voila! Here's the screenshot

im going to download brushes tomorrow, so by them if i have nicer brushes from there, i will use it! xP
