Ya soo freaky... I don't know why people are sooo crazy bout Gewn coming to malaysia! I don't think she's ALL THAT... Anyways, SHUR, really nice layout... Maybe next time you should make your own layout since you make GREAT artworks!

YAY!!! I'm an inspiration.... lol. XD :icon_happy111: Can't you put a commenting system or a shoutbox or something??? It's getting quite inconvenient....
anyway, ya, i agree the malaysian flag quite something one, you might end up with stripes everywhere. i suggest you take a flying flag (not the normal flat one that seems unreal) add a gaussian blur, not too much, so that the end result won't look too stripey. and the blur helps if the resolution of the flag is not that good. I did a bit of masking on the photos and then overlaid the flag on top.
for the pictures, I used the NDP (national day parade) pics i found at their website. My father said Malaysia also had some kind of parade. Maybe you could use some photos from there. And never use google for such photos. Use flickr. They got more usable photos. And maybe when you search, you could search under "most interesting" instead of "most relevant"..... most relevant might work but it gets pretty boring somtimes. And you might have to search more waay back until like ....last year? Or other previous years. And I suggest you don't use fireworks, they don't pull it off.
