depends on the band really.
theres this one band who had a 14 year old vox
n he did some screaming..
n gosh,..
i think my ears were bleeding!
but i guess emo ain't that bad.

wat song isnt emotional?
emotions is wat makes a song
n makes us human, to be honest.

well emo music doesnt have to have emo lyrics to be emo, it just needs the sound, based on lyrics , i would say they have the emo lyrics...but they dont the sound at all

lol, i know. i said tht i wldn't bother this actually pointless topic but here i am. everyone's definition of wht emo music differentiates from one another's. tht's why this is actually pretty pointless as each and everyone of you have a different idea of what emo music is. and yeah, PATD isn't an emo band, they just have awesome songs with awesome lyrics. they're so awesome tht they have their own genre...
