End of the world & other prophecies

I just watched a dvd from the history channel about the other nostradamus..its about prophets and their predictions... what really caught my attention is that nostradamus(1500s),mayans(?),edgar cayce(1800s) predicted an end of the world....the mayans had a calendar that was also a prophetic tool that indicated that the end of the world is in 2012. They even predicted the great depression, the rise of hitler and world war2!!

ALSO

Atlantis.

Edgar Cayce had a reading about it, he said the Atlantians had very good knowledge of the universe but they abused their power over nature and they were destroyed and Atlantis drifted apart piece by piece... Edgar Cayce said that it would rise in 1966. It didnt. But archeologists (i think) found a circular rock formation in the bahamas called the bimmimi (however its spelled) road. And edgar cayce said that the survivors of atlantis hid their histories and secrets all over the world. He said that one was in the front of the right paw of the sphix in egypt. there is currently an excavation there and they saw a chamber that is obviously human carved that goes down to about 25 feet (or was it meters?)

I for one, trust edgar cayce. he made 14000 readings and most (i think) came true. he even cured a patient he said by putting a nail on the fracture. it worked! He even helped people about horce races, weather their relatives would return from world war 2 or not and others.

Ii have learned about history in my class
juss today 'bout the Mayans, and based on
our book and the vid. that we saw in class,
the eclipse [end of the world] is near and
will be on exactly 4:30am Mexico Time at December
23, 2012. It's hard to believe that it's true but it is
because if you seen the movie, APOCALYPTO, it's
based on a real life [but it was dramatized] story
in Mexico in about 1800s. People were sacrificed in
the Chinchi Nitsa Pyramid to honor their gods.
They also played a ball game without using their
hands or feet but their heads only. It was a violence
game and the one who losses will be killed
[Ii know it's scary!]. The Mayans were also the
ones who calculated the exact time and days using
only rocks and stones without even using our modern
calendar or time today! Infact, every 4 years, we have
to change the date of February 29 then after 4 years,
we have to change it to February 28 again. But based
on the Mayans' calculations, their discoveries were
never wrong. They don't have to change anythin'!

That's why Ii believe in paranormal, toO! x]

it is true? no way.
nobody actually knows when is the end of the world.
only God knows.
but, those predictions are predicted by those people, who were at the time of the prophets.

then i won't have a husband, daughter, son, a great family! :(
i don't know, i hope it's NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.

nooo, i really don't want that to happen!

contradictory, james...lol...i believe that...not about the atlantis, etc. etc. but I do think that the end of the world wil come...no being pessimistic at all but i believe that the SUN will eventually die and the source of energy that PRODUCERS need will disapppear then the whole cycle will be affected then BOOM...everyone dies....;)

The pope ( i forgot which) visited rome once and then he got a vision of all the popes that will come....the sentences described their background and shockingly, all of them were right. The last one in his vision is the pope today. and i forgot whats his name >.< BUT he said something about something ending (i didnt really right down the prophecy) idk if its the end of the Catholic church or the end of the World he's describing..

Darn. If 2012 is the end of the world that means i cant be an astronaut :'(

he said "4th age ends, 5th age begins."

....What is that all about? are we in like..... ages?

yea, i agree with Ailyne. everyone knows the earth will end one day but I dont think that its going to be anytime soon. atleast not for hundreds of years, probably longer. be careful not to say anything to scary because you never know how old someone could be thats reading this, it could freak them out. at the age of 5 i used to be so scared about dying.

so it`s like
a new cycle .
&nostradamus predicted
that the world would end on

3797 !
so we`d all be dead by then .
