Hey everybody,
Hui Xian here. Well to start this off first I would like to say sorry for not posting in a long time, life has been crazy lately and there honestly hasn't been much time for ASC.

But actually, that is one of the reasons I'm here today telling you this.
I'm sorry, but I'm going to close ASC.
I really am sorry.
I know ASC is closed already, but I mean this time the forum.
I won't delete the forum, I'll just lock all the topics.

I'm really sorry.
But to me and I mean no offense to any of you, It's just all too much for me, I'm busy with life and other things and I just can't take care of ASC anymore and to be honest, to me ASC is like my pre-teen days, I know some of you guys are still in your pre-teens so I really mean no offense to you but It’s like …we’ve grown up in ASC and maybe now It’s time for It to end, start a new chapter in our life but this time without ASC. I really am sorry. I really am, it’s hard for me to close it but I think that I should. For the better. I’m sorry.

I'd rather close it now, then have it die slowly if that makes sense.
I know you guys still post here, but I'm just sorry.
I'm going to close it.
Probably soon, I don’t know when.
I really am sorry.

But thanks, for everything. For posting, for being here and for being my friends.

Again, I am sorry. But it’s time for ASC to go.

that took me by surprise....really....im typing faster now that ive ever before....im not going to object your descision, since, well you own the forum but .... well.... im not going to support you either....im not saying you did the wrong thing, because you didn't but its just so sad to close the forum...im sorry...

and YZ...i agree with James, Im sure HX can't keep the forum open until you have kids...

I know that doing this people would probably not pick any sides because both ways are still in a way hard.

But as much as I want to keep this forum It's hard to me to carry on with it and grow up at the same time. Its like in a way when your this little girl growing up who wants to keep that teddy bear you use to sleep with every since you were a kid even if your getting to old for it.

And now I just think it's time for this little girl to let go of her teddy bear.

Anyway, that's really sad news. I was shocked when I saw the letter. Like woooh. I learned everything here! But it's ok, it's her descision not ours, she owns the forum remember? She has the right to do anything else. Aww, really bad news.

this happened too fast for me.
Anyway, I think we should all respect your decision. But, maybe, you could pass it on to someone. Like a legacy or something. Or we could make a new forum for a different phase in our life. one, where we all grew up and also grew up with ASC.

And, everyone of us in ASC had this little aspiration to become a great great graphic designer no matter how bad our graphic-making skills were or what programme we used, and our inspiration was always ASC. I hope, after this, we will go on to be better graphic designers, with our own unique and individual styles.

But no matter what, whatever final decision you make, I think that these few years that ASC has been around, and having ASC accompanying us growing up into a teen, we'll really treasure it. And I think, we sorta have a flame inside everyone of us who have experienced the ASC Experience, and the torch says ASC. So, yeah, I think over the years, we sorta developed an ASC spirit. I know this sounds mushy and corny and everything, but i think there's this morsel of reality to it.

SO, yeah, I must thank HX and ASC and the rest of you, for going on this journey of growing up with me. I'm sure none of us will ever forget this journey. I know I won't.
