The Locals!
Does anyone no about how maori's were first at NZ?
Well... the french came down to New Zealand and Settled down in Akaroa!
Thats where my Holiday Home is! 
When The British found out about this new land they rushed down only they went to the north island and made a deal with The Locals (The Maoris)
When the french found out they left and went back to France!
HORRAY!!!!! lol.
Is Anyone here a New Zealand Pakeha or NZ Maori?
Pakeha was the early british settlers!

Gold Mines
in around 1860's. They found alot of gold in the South Island! im not sure about north island though.
That made alot of people from other countrys come down! Like from China.
There are old Huts where they used to live when they were mineing all around the places where gold was!

I'm neither !! Cus I'm from Indonesia who moved to New Zealand !! But I have a best friend who is half Maori and half Pakeha !! LoL
