I think JuiCyMaNia sent the news about the ugliest dog to ALLSTARSCLUB Wacky News. Here's what I read today!

L'il Sam, the un-earthly looking three-time winner of the Son-oma-Marin Fair's World's Ugliest Dog contest, died Nov. 18, 2005 in Santa Barbara. He was 14.
Sam, a Chinese crested hairless, startled onlookers with his cloudy eye, rough skin and general ugliness at the fair in June. He was euthanized by his owner after a veterinarian said his heart was failing.
Owner Susie Lockheed of Santa Barbara had cared for Sam for six years. She was on hand at the fair in June to cheer her dog on, urging Sam to "Give 'em the zombie eye!"
Sam died just short of his 15th birthday and was scheduled to be filmed for a Discovery channel series on the world's ugliest species.
He is survived by owner Susie and her three other dogs: TatorTot, TinkerBell and PixieNoodle. |
I don't like the look of that dog and I know he is old (14) but I feel so  I got to hug my doggie and curly now--- |

| Old age! :icon_sad65: I sometimes volunteer at a pet clinic just to play with the dogs and cats there. So each time I see or hear a pet dies, I feel so sad. I have rescued so many cats and dogs. |
