This is my POV on the finale of American Idol.

I knew from the previous week that Taylor was 100 percent going to win. I think Katharine has a much better voice then him. But Taylor won because he was entertaining and lots of people voted for him coz he entertained them by dancing. Katharine also entertained us, but she was'nt as good as Taylor. What made me think that Taylor won because I think some people (critics I suppose) hated Katharine for her confidence. You can see that Katharine performed songs from famous artistes and she thought she could pull it off. Katharine is still new in the music industry so I think she should not sing all those kind of songs. And I just cringe (sp?) when she sings those high notes. It is quite obvious she is singing overboard, even the judges said so. She has a beautiful voice but she shoud'nt sing those kind of songs. Over The Rainbow fitted her voice perfectley coz taht song did'nt need her to use so much power in her voice. Taylor: not to be harsh or anything but I just dislike his voice. Its just so "old" (no offence Taylor fans). I would say Katharine has a better voice but Taylor was just more popular.

Even I just saw 1 episode of American Idol, I think Taylor was much more better than Katharine.
I dont usually go for the image but for the quality.

especially when he 'invited' Paula Abdul to dance with him...that's interesting! but still i prefer Katharine! Icon_emotions16

I voted for Katherine! My parents knew who won the American Idol since morning but I won't let them tell me. Then Cammy almost blurted it out but thatnk goodness she didn't because I wanted to watch it on TV. I was so upset when she didn't win!!! Icon_00000009

I love Kat's voice, Taylor is good but I prefer others more than him. Maybe because of the way he looks. I find him a bit on the girlish side. But obviously people like him.

I read Katherine is still going to make an album and releasing a single. Icon_emotions16
