Fearless reporter Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) believes the world has bypassed Superman and his club of super heroes. It no longer needs Krrish kinda guys who can straighten things up with muscle and punch.
Fearless reporter Lois Lane can be forgiven 'coz she's actually a heartbroken woman who lost her super lover, without knowing the whys and wherefores.
One night, after a heady encounter, her caped crusader simply flew off into the heavens and left her with the second best: nice guy Richard (Marsden) who not only worked in the same office but also promised to fly her around like Superman.
Only this time, she'd have to fly in a plain and ordinary plane in place of a brawny male chest and a bountiful bulge. Can't blame Lois Lane. She's just a woman scorned and hell really hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Hence her sad demeanour and her false beliefs... Of course the world needs Superman. So what if like Christopher Nolan's Batman, this super hero too has gone glum and introspective and like Spiderman, he too isn't quite sure about his role in a fast-mutating world.
The fact is that Superman can still save the world by simply stretching out his hand and zipping up and down on inter-galactic rides.
More importantly, Superman will always be needed as long as there are Superdevils: megalomaniacs who want to build new worlds and rule over technology.
So, if Krrish had an overambitious scientist who wanted to peer into the future and control it, Superman Returns has an over-the-edge Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) who wants to build a new continent in mid-Atlantic.

um, no offense but I think this belongs in the Movie/TV section, but other than that, the movie was just ok for me, it wasnt really great, it was kind of boring in some parts actually,but it was still good in a way.
