DiCaprio Rushed for MRI Scan

HOLLYWOOD - Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio was taken to hospital by air-ambulance from his African movie set on Friday, amid fears he had suffered internal injuries during a fall.

The 31-year-old star, who is currently filming new movie Blood Diamond in Mozambique, was flown by helicopter to a clinic in Nelspruit, South Africa, for an MRI scan after slipping and injuring his knee on set.

Relieved doctors confirmed the Titanic actor had suffered no internal bleeding and DiCaprio returned to filming yesterday.

Last night his spokesperson confirmed, "He went to the clinic and was examined but he was back at work today."

Cruise Pranks Reporter with Baby Photo

HOLLYWOOD - Tom Cruise showed off his playful side in his first interview since the birth of his daughter, Suri, when he pretended he had a picture of the baby in his back pocket.

The movie star sat down for an interview with newscaster Deborah Roberts and the rest of the Mission: Impossible 3 cast last week and decided to have a little fun when the prying interviewer attempted to get hold of a first shot of the new baby.

Roberts was thrilled when Cruise reached into his pocket after the interviewer asked if he had a photo of his newborn on her news show 20/20, which aired last night.

His castmates also held their breaths as a giggling Cruise presented Roberts with nothing but an empty palm.

Roberts says, "It was really funny at first and I really thought that we would get the first peek at this beautiful little baby."

Duff Hates Paparazzi But Loves Celebrity Magazines

Teen star Hilary Duff loathes the paparazzi who trail after her - despite reading the publications which buy their photographs. The 'So Yesterday' singer is fed up with her life being constantly caught on camera, but still likes to read gossip magazines to see if herself or celebrity friends are featured. Duff says, "It's horrible. It's the most awkward feeling when you are in the street being normal then you notice them watching you. If those mags weren't around then it wouldn't happen because there would be no one to pay the paparazzi but if there is one (magazine) in the nail salon I pick it up and have a look."

Internet security

Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Paula Abdul are teaching kids how to be safe on the Internet via a series of PSAs that will begin airing this week. Other celebs featured in the spots include Celine Dion, Tony Danza, Donny Osmond, Kathy Ireland, and the cast of "7th Heaven." The campaign is sponsored by the KlaasKidds Foundation and the Child Safety Network, who are providing fingerprint cards, child photo I.D. cards, DNA kits, and access to the national database of registered sex offenders.

Ashlee Simpson joins DuPage fair lineup

This year's DuPage County Fair will feature milk-making, sheep shearing, woodcarving, carnival rides oh, and Ashlee Simpson. Ellen Sietmann, association manager for the fair, said the pop princess will take the stage at some point during the fair, set for July 26 to 30. Sietmann said Simpson was booked for the fair more than a month ago, but the time and date for her performance has not been scheduled. Her performance will last about 1 hour, 15 minutes. "We're trying to have something for everyone in every age group," Sietmann said. "We're trying to educate and entertain (at the fair). I think she adds to the great lineup." Simpson will headline along with teen sensation Jesse McCartney, who will perform July 30, and country favorite Travis Tritt, who will perform July 29. Ticket prices haven't been established. About 200,000 people are expected to attend this year's fair, which takes place at the fairgrounds in Wheaton. Source: SuburbanChicagoNews.com

i'm back from the mtv awards in australia and just wanted to say a quick hello and thank you to all my fans for voting for me and being so supportive and amazing. i had an awesome time down under and everyone there really made me feel welcome - i can't wait to go back!

i also wanted to let everyone know that i'm starting rehearsal for my summer tour and i'm so excited for it to start! it's gonna be fun so hopefully you guys can all make it out to a show.
