Hi everyone,
If you know of anyone who copies your work and graphics, please post it here with the link to the blog, url of the pictures, etc. We will put all copy cats in this topic.

I found out one today- copying the entire content of my PHOTOSHOPkidz glitter tutorial to her website. Although she credited me, but that is stealing a property without getting a permission from me first. It makes me feeling I shouldn't add anything anymore there because people simply copy them into their websites! :icon_angry3:
I will check if she removes it within 2 days from now and if she hasn't, there is going to be a BIG SIGN with her name on it here!

HX, who is this person?? SOmeone we know? Don't get flustered by them HX. If you will then you will never be able to get ahead. Just try your best to cope up and ignore them. She means if you find someone copying your work, or somebody's work (like gives requests on Nicksplat but uses somebody else's graphics and let's people credit her).

I will edit this post if I find any.

I have seen HEAPS of sites copying TheALLSTARSCLUB.com. But I have forgotten them. Like HX said, copycats just want ot take the easy way out. I have never liked copycats. I don't copy people even if their works are really good. I think if people be creative, they can be as good as anyone!! Anyway, I think some members of TheALLSTARSCLUB actually copy the club. I have seen some, oh well...

I just remembered one!! Someone in Piczo, I forgot her name, copied Pink-Glittz's Dear Hater letter. I thought she asked Pink-Glittz but she hasn't so she asked that girl to remove it and she did. She did NOT credit Pink-Glittz and she even added some things. To be honest, taht girl swears alot, dunno why.

Those copycats should be warned because if they still continue copying those graphics they can copy the whole idea.

I'm dealing with the person who copies my work right now. She did credit me but that's not the issue. She has apologized and I have written her an e-mail explaining my view. I know you will be reading this. Please know that I don't HATE you.... actually I don't use the word 'hate' very much in my vocabulary because I think it's such a harsh word. I may be angry at someone but I don't hate that person.

Pink-Glittz should know that very well. We did a LOT of exchanges remember and we are still friends. This is the way I prefer my friends to be - that we can say to each other what we think but at the end of the day we choose the right way and still be friends. It's not about winning and losing.

I find a lot of people always try to find the easiest way out by copying others work. I copy a LOT of graphic design as well - but that is when I am learning how to design using a different technique. I used to follow Cammy's designs but now I am better and try to always find something which I can do on my own. That is copying by learning. We don't take someone's work and claim it as our own. Be very careful with that coz you might get slapped with a law suit.

You mean get sued?? Sometimes people just don't get it. They think we hate them. When they get mad, they don't think. They just get mad at us. Not only copycats are like that. When I don't know what to do, my work is usually B-A-D, because I don't copy. My friends copy me, but some are not afraid to admit it because it always turns our bad when they copy. The original is always the best LoL!! At least I think thta's true...

Yes Catherine... a person can get sued for stealing another's property. For instance your siggie- If I copy it and then erased your name and add mine, you can sue me. Because I am a minor (under age) my parents will be held responsible.

That is why we have copyright protection law and in every country they are the same.

WOW Kids can sue other kids?? LoL
I heard that an author's copyright expires 50 years after they die. I think that's unfair. So then people can copy their work without permission. I wouldn't want ot be an author.

I've also seen lots of sites(Piczo) with Adobe Photoshop CS2 Tutorials, not counting Pink-Glittz. Lots of people has also done things you started in their clubs, do you think that's copying or just using?? I hope people would try and be more creative
