well lots of people grow their nails lik 1cm or 2cms........but is this safe??? even i grow my nails and now they are around 1cm....and my mom says to cut them because they contain poisons.......and after a lot of research i found out that long time ago people use to give doses of poisons to their kids wich when they grow up settles down in in their nails, teeth and other body parts so that in cases of emergency they may be useful!!!! so because of this our nails also contain around .008% of poisons wich are not so harmful...but cause various diseases and so small children who eat their nails should not do so becuase it carries various germs wich cause liver and pancreas diseases. _________________
