Watched the whole match, went to school and fell asleep during an exam! it was additional maths and i would have failed it even if i was awake anyway!

Anyway, ur dad was right, the referee was biased! Arsenal managed to hold on for 75 minutes with 10 men against 11 but tired legs, bad refereeing and just plain being unlucky just delayed the inevitable!

Im off to Sabah for my school's pre-match against a school in sabah...hope we win! you met them once in a tournament in pahang, they beat us then 4-1 but i was only a spectator...that was during my injury, HX should remember.

we won 2-0! i didnt score but hit the post and got a red card for fighting with the goalkeeper! thank god it was in the 88th minute and the match was nearly over.... we got a corner and everytime i went near the goal to get ready to head the ball the keeper would push me away, so i got frustrated and just slammed into him instead of going infront of him, he fell over... i laughed at first, then he got up and pushed me! i was about to fight with him when the ref blew his whistle, ge gave the keeper a yellow card but i got a red :( my coach later told me, if i want to get into a fight, hit ppl harder, lol! none of my teammates were upset with me, infact we all had a good laugh about it because everyone knew the keeper was pushing, it was just a matter of time before i lost my temper... anyway, the important thing was the result!

ahhh... i changed my title because due to the football season finishing, im not posting at my blog... lots of spare time now!

and i just came home from the football tournament... we finished 3rd overall and the coach told us we were very disappointing. we lost in the semis 2-2(3-3 aet, 4-3 on penalties) but won the 3rd place playoffs ...wait for it.... 8-0! the funny thing is that most of the usual starting 11 didnt start this match including me, i came on after 70 minutes and scored 1 goal. after the win the coach said that the first 11 were over-confident and that the reserves played much better trashing last years winners. When we came home, our head-coach and headmistress looked at the tape of our tournament and said that we tried our best but our squad coach looked very angry...we knew that we could have played better in that semi-final match, we had lots of chances of scoring, i had two chances where i was one-on-one with the keeper, one time he saved it and the other i hit the bar. we knew we could have played better and we later appologised to the coaches for our bad performance.

what we didnt expect was, the next day during our final training session before we get to 'balik kampung', the coaches decided to reshuffle the whole team to add more of the reserve players that played so well in the 8-0 win to the first team. we were really scared that we would all lose our spots to the reserves. only 4 of the original first 11 kept their spots, thankfully i kept my spot, but the coach warned my that i had to play better to keep my spot as my 'understudy', my classmate was the player who scored 3 of the 8 goals, coach said if i continue to under-perform i would lose my spot in the line-up. Then the best part, the head coach gave me the captain armband, i was happy but i knew i didnt get it because i was a good leader but because i was now the most senior player in the starting 11, most of the players now in the starting 11 are new to the squad. The coaches told us the reason for the reshuffle was to stop us from thinking that we are the best 11, they said that whenever they want to, they can change the whole squad because my school has the biggest squad in the whole 'daerah'! Finally, after the longest training session lasting nearly 5 hours we went home. I walked home with my former striking partner, he actually scored more goals that me this year and we were all surprised that he was dropped... im really in a lot of pressure now because if i lose my spot in the team, i would also lose my spot in the regional championships...so i have to start scoring again...

Welcome Back from East Malaysia! Wow! It looks like you have a lot of pressure in your team to perform. You have just one more year, or less than that with the school right before going to college? I hope things go well with you.

Coming 3rd place isn't so bad right but if your school is representing Selangor, than it is somehow disappointing? My mom once told me her girls hockey team were too confident and they beat all the schools in the city. When they played with a kampong team somewhere in the outskirt of Selangor, they thought it was easy peasy. Here they were, all dressed and geared up while the 'kampong' girls wore whatever they could find for a uniform. They beat them 6-0! Embarassed

It was a lesson learnt not to be over confident. The make it worst, their coach was a striker for Malaysia! LOL

So, try always your best and learn from the master footballer like Ronaldino (I hope I get his name right). Best wishes...

and don't worry about the title change. Lots of posters change titles, sometimes I get quite confused!

actually the tournament in Sabah finished a while back... our selangor team lost in the second round... this is my school team and a tournament between schools in 'daerah'. My school usually wins or finishes second in this tournament... now that we finished 3rd we cant represent our daerah at the state level....

Oh I understand now. Asked my mom what that word 'daerah' means and she said it's a district. So will there be more tournaments for your school so your team can redeem itself?

nop, only next year....but we do get invited to mini-tournaments that other schools hold and we hope to redeem ourselves there....

just came on to the forums and found out that HX is getting rid of ASC...
its sad but as the saying goes.....
nothing good lasts forever....
anyway, i hope HX and everyone else gets to move on from ASC...
im glad to see that the forums is still running....
sadly, its a waste especially since her mom and dad spent so much money on getting the website running....
i wish HX a good future awayu from ASC...
and also to everyone else at the forums.....
